Below are a few examples of some very high quality stainless steel fabrications that Interfab can manufacture to for your projects or jobs.
Stainless Steel Enclosures
This enclosure was required to be completed in a No.4 finish, where not only the quality of stainless steel welding had to be very high, but the finish was just as important.
After welding, Interfab has the ability to clean the stainless steel welds with a pickling process to restore the stainless steel to its original corrosion resistant qualities, as can be seen in the images on the left.
Stainless Steel Explosion Proof Boxes
In certain stainless steel fabrications there are technical requirements that go beyond just appearance. Often in power control boxes and in certain industries, it is important for the welds to provide a complete enclosure from the surroundings to be explosion proof. That is, not to ingress any dust from the welded areas. This can also be required for IP rating enclosures, depending on what rating the customer may require for their application. Interfab can help you with such stainless steel fabrication requirements.
Stainless Steel Credit Machines
From small jobs to large projects that require the highest quality stainless steel fabrications. The machines on the left were for the Victorian transport system to add credit to a transport card, similar to NSW transport Opal card used on public transport.
The requirements of this project were to create very high quality stainless steel fabrications with many of the assembly parts sitting flush and parallel to avoid any potential tampering of the machines.
Stainless Steel Fabrication Finish
Certain stainless fabrications require a very high quality finish, which may be required in a retail or commercial application. The image on the left shows one of Interfab's operators cleaning, or linishing, the surface of a stainless steel fabrication to improve the finish from a dull to a shiny finish.
For certain industrial applications, the finish or appearance is not as critical as the stainless steel fabrication may be exposed to the weather or other harsh environments, where the corrosion resistance properties are more important.
